Data and choices
Privacy and questionnaire data
The finder uses the requirements you select to match documented product arrangements. When you submit the finder, the browser sends those answer IDs and values to this site's /api/match endpoint. The finder does not ask for personal or sensitive information; do not enter it into a product finder. The browser may keep your choices in session storage so the finder can resume them during the current browser session.
When you follow a finder result to a central buying page, the selected public answer IDs and values may be carried in the URL fragment. That page reads the fragment in your browser to display the choices and prepare a return-to-finder link. The fragment is editable and is not proof of compatibility or a verified match. It is not included in the Amazon search destination, and the visitor must choose the retailer link actively.
This page describes the answer handling in the site and central-page code; it does not make claims about server logs or the policies of network and hosting providers.
