Finder

Find a capture card for your actual setup

Start with your source and recorded format, then add the passthrough target, host interface, computer platform and software that are genuinely required. Results reflect the documented operating plans in this library, not every product or seller offer. An empty match means no assessed plan meets all the selected conditions; it is not proof that no suitable device exists.

Choose “no essential preference” when you are still comparing. The finder tests selected requirements together on one supported operating plan and never scores products by an undisclosed popularity or price signal.

Source and recorded signal

Start with what leaves the device and the format you want on the computer.

Capture hardware does not convert every connector or protected signal. Select a source type only when it is essential.

This is the captured feed, not the image sent onward to a gaming display. The source, capture device, software and host must all support the selected mode.

Passthrough is the display path. Check HDR, refresh rate and VRR together; one maximum resolution does not apply to every mode.
